What is a per diem SLP CFY SNF?

A Per Diem SLP CFY SNF is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and works on an as-needed (per diem) basis in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). In this role, the SLP provides evaluation and treatment for residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The position allows for flexible scheduling and valuable experience in a medical setting while fulfilling the CFY, which is required for full licensure.
