Job Description

Instrumentation and Controls Technician in the upstream and midstream oil & gas industry. This position will be responsible for safely and promptly performing tasks involved with day-to-day maintenance and support of pneumatic systems in order to minimize or resolve downtime. In addition, it requires preventive maintenance skills and the ability to construct pneumatic systems from start to finish. We are asking for the applicant to be local to the East Texas area.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support I&C Techs and learn all processes and procedures to become I&C Technician.
  • Meet all Safety training requirements need to meet customers safety requirements
  • Learn to maintain equipment and vehicles provided by Pneumatech and keep in good operational condition.
  • Ensuring safety in the workplace by following safety protocols and procedures, wearing appropriate safety equipment, and identifying potential hazards

Required Experience

  • Pneumatic diagnostic and maintenance repair knowledge
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems including installing, disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective parts on a variety of pneumatic equipment and facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of tools and equipment
  • 1-2 years of industrial experience
  • Strong work ethic and ability to operate with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well with others and effectively communicate in a team environment to accomplish customer and team goals

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must speak, read, and write English Fluently
  • Preferred 2-year technical college education
