Instrumentation Fitter
Location: Claude, TX
Pay: $35.00-$38.00/hour
Per Diem: $178/day worked (must work a minimum of 8 hours to qualify)
Schedule: 60 hrs / 60 hrs / 50 hrs rotating schedule (Significant Overtime Available)
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Instrumentation Fitters to join a large industrial construction project in Childress, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for tradespeople with instrumentation, tubing, and industrial construction experience who are looking for steady overtime, competitive pay, and long-term project opportunities.
Responsibilities
  • Install, mount, and secure instrumentation tubing, supports, and associated hardware.
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and instrumentation layouts.
  • Install tubing systems for pressure, flow, level, and temperature instrumentation.
  • Fabricate and install tubing runs using proper bending and fitting techniques.
  • Install instrument stands, brackets, supports, and field-mounted devices.
  • Work alongside electricians, instrument technicians, and commissioning teams.
  • Perform quality workmanship while maintaining production schedules.
  • Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of instrumentation fitting or industrial mechanical experience preferred.
  • Experience working on industrial construction projects such as data centers, power plants, refineries, LNG facilities, petrochemical plants, or manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to read instrumentation drawings, P&IDs, and installation details.
  • Experience installing tubing, supports, and instrumentation components.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Schedule & Benefits
  • Pay: $35.00-$38.00/hour (DOE)
  • Per Diem: $178/day worked (8-hour minimum required)
