Occupational Therapist (OTR) - Per Diem or Contract
Outpatient Facility | New York

We are currently seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our outpatient therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated clinician seeking a flexible schedule in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

Occupational Therapist Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to help patients maximize functional independence and improve quality of life.
  • Assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and modify interventions as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.
  • Consult with team members regarding occupational therapy interventions and recommendations.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and changes in status.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license.
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
