Job description

Position Title: Per diem RN-Med/Surg
Job Location: New Lenox, Illinois
Job Type: Per diem
Shifts: Nights
No. of positions: 5
Must Have: Active BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NIHSS and Nursing License
Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor and interpret vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and respiratory rate.
  • Prioritize tasks and patient needs based on the severity of conditions and potential risks.
  • Manage the emotional demands of working in a high-pressure environment, including dealing with patient loss.
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Work history/resume
  • Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and NIHSS certifications may be required
  • PALS and TNCC may be preferred
