Eklego is proud to be leading the RN Delegating Nurse- Assisted Living search for The Village at Rockville, part of National Lutheran Communities & Services in Rockville, MD.The Village at Rockville is a mission-driven not-for-profit organization with 50 Assisted Living Apartments. NLCS is a highly rated skilled nursing operation providing cutting-edge and high-quality health care services for elders in the Rockville community.What will I do as the RN Delegating Nurse?As the RN Delegating Nurse, you serve as the clinical leader who helps ensure residents receive safe, thoughtful support while maintaining dignity and independence. You will also mentor and guide the caregiving team, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to support residents each day.Provide clinical oversight for residents in the assisted living program by conducting assessments, issuing nursing and clinical orders, and ensuring resident needs are appropriately addressed through individualized service planning.Safely delegate nursing tasks in accordance with Maryland COMAR regulations and Maryland Board of Nursing standards, including assessing the resident, task, environment, and staff competency. Provide training, coaching, and competency validation to ensure delegated tasks are performed safely and consistently.Partner with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to support admissions, transitions in health status, and ongoing service planning. Maintain accurate documentation, monitor clinical processes such as medication administration and infection control, and ensure regulatory requirements are met.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of MarylandMaryland Board of Nursing–approved Delegating Nurse certificationMinimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric settingsKnowledge of Maryland Board of Nursing standards for nursing practice and delegationCurrent CPR and Adult First Aid certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)Ability to maintain confidential resident informationPreferredExperience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric careExperience delegating nursing tasks and overseeing medication administrationFamiliarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation systemsCompletion of the 80-hour Assisted Living Manager training programWhy Choose Eklego?As a Nursing professional, your skills are highly sought after, and you have many options.
