Job Summary
Per Diem
The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for planning and preparing equipment, assisting in preparation and positioning of patients, and assisting physicians with biopsy, counter traction, polypectomy, and other therapies as required. The Endoscopy Technician demonstrates an advanced knowledge of Endoscopy procedures by anticipating needs and preparing equipment in advance.
This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
This position reports to the Manager, Endoscopy and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Endoscopy Technician Certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
