Position Overview

Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to deliver services from the comfort of your own home while remaining deeply engaged with families in the Spokane area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of infants and toddlers within their home and community environments to determine their developmental status and needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child, identifying specific goals and interventions to support their growth.
• Provide developmentally appropriate, individualized therapeutic interventions directly to children and their families, employing evidence-based strategies and culturally sensitive approaches.
• Document progress and outcomes through comprehensive reports, case notes, and assessments, ensuring compliance with state and organizational guidelines.
• Take an active role in facilitating group and individual interventions that promote developmental skills across cognitive, emotional, and physical domains.
• Engage with families to assess their strengths, resources, and concerns, providing professional guidance and emotional support throughout the intervention process.
• Facilitate and encourage effective parent-child interactions to bolster child development, while also empowering families to advocate for their children’s needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is dedicated to working with a pediatric population, specifically focusing on children from birth to three years old, who are either diagnosed with or at risk for developmental delays. It involves partnering with parents and caregivers to deliver personalized services that respect their cultural backgrounds and align with their values.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license.
• Strong foundation in child development and family systems.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication abilities, essential for effective documentation and interaction with families and external partners.
• Proficiency in computer skills, documentation, and the willingness to utilize telehealth tools as applicable.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for community outreach.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, and their families, ideally in an early intervention or family support setting.
• Familiarity with local resources and services available for children with developmental concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $68,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
