OverviewThe Department of Radiology at Montefiore Health System is seeking a Per Diem Body Radiologist to provide remote weekend coverage for inpatient (IP) imaging services. This role supports weekend case volumes and offers a highly flexible, remote work arrangement.
This opportunity is well-suited for radiologists seeking supplemental income, flexible scheduling, or part-time remote work, while remaining engaged in a high-acuity, academically driven environment.
ResponsibilitiesSchedule & Compensation
- Weekend-only coverage (Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Flexible shifts: 4–8 hours, scheduled at mutually agreed times
- Opportunity to extend hours based on availability and departmental needs
- Option to interpret outpatient (OP) cases in addition to inpatient workload
- Competitive hourly/per diem compensation, commensurate with experience
Clinical Responsibilities
- Interpret a broad range of body imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radiography
- Provide timely, high-quality reads for inpatient imaging, with optional outpatient coverage
- Maintain strong turnaround times, diagnostic accuracy, and documentation standards
- Participate in quality improvement activities as appropriate
Remote Work Environment

Requirements
- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent with ECFMG certification, if applicable)
- Fellowship training in Body Imaging preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Eligible for or currently holding a New York State medical license
- Ability to work independently in a remote, high-efficiency environment
