Job description

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Minimum 3 years of interventional radiology experience required. ARRT (R) certification, Kansas Radiologic Technologist license (LRT), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory. Experience with interventional radiology and special procedures, proficiency with EMR: Epic, and experience with imaging systems: PACS are also required.

Roles and responsibilities include performing interventional radiology and special procedures, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for patient care and procedural support, maintaining sterile field and adhering to safety protocols during procedures, and documenting procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR.

Orientation consists of 16 hours. On-call requirements include approximately 2 nights per week and every 5th weekend. Must complete pre-start modules totaling 10–15 hours before the start date. Flu vaccine is required (with medical/religious exemptions allowed); COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
