Position: Housekeeping / Environmental Services Technician (EVS) / HousekeepingLocation: 201 Pleasant Hill Road, Chester, NJ 07930Schedule: Per Diem (PRN), 6AM - 2PM or 11AM - 7PM (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)

6 shifts within a 6 week schedule 

Compensation: $19.30 per hour + Shift Differential

Responsibilities

Housekeepers / Environmental Services Technicians (EVS) help provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere in our hospitals. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery and visitor satisfaction by keeping the halls, stations, waiting rooms and patient rooms clean. 

  • Assists in maintaining the quality and appearance of the physical plant by reporting repair issues and needs on a daily basis or as needed.
  • Keeps floors clean and safe by dust mopping and wet mopping as necessary.
  • Cleans and polishes all metal trim furnishing and/or equipment as necessary, as well as washes walls, windows and beds as assigned.
  • Strips, waxes and buffs floors as assigned using safety precautions to properly carry out the procedures.
  • Assists in moving furniture as requested. Replenishes supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Hospital EVS experience preferred.

Per Diem Requirement: Must be available to work Six (6) shifts per Six (6) week schedule; Three (3) must be on the Weekend (Saturday's or Sunday's).
