Job description

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Verify that all personnel entering or exiting the facility have proper identification and required authorization documentation.
• Escort subcontractors and visitors in accordance with Plant Vogtle and federal nuclear security protocols.
• Coordinate daily access schedules with project management to ensure timely site entry.
• Maintain and update escorted personnel logs and site access spreadsheets.
• Ensure all escorted personnel remain within approved work areas at all times.
• Assist the Safety Department with documentation using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Support project management with material coordination as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Qualifications
• Must successfully pass all required nuclear site background screenings, including federal security vetting.
• Must have a completely clean criminal record with no pending charges or disqualifying offenses.
• Must be eligible for unescorted access approval as required by Plant Vogtle security standards.
• Valid driver’s license (Real ID compliant).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional, dependable, and able to operate in a highly regulated environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel and Word).
