Operator - Natural Gas Transmission
Pay Range: $24-32/hr - Plus Per Diem
This range represents the expected hourly compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
The Pipeline Equipment Operator role is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of many different types of heavy equipment including but not limited to the following: excavators, loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, sideboom, skid steers, etc. The operation of this equipment is required to assist in the task at hand, commonly excavation, trenching, grading, material handling, loading and unloading. The position will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions utilizing both hand and power tools.
This position is required to perform the following functions:
  • Operate heavy equipment including, running, maneuvering, navigating and driving
  • Complete various assignments by SAFELY and efficiently operating and maintaining heavy equipment
  • Conduct operator inspections and perform preventative maintenance checks. (Greasing, checking fluid levels, etc.)
  • Ensure company equipment and material is maintained, kept clean and stored in a safe manner

Skills and Experience
Required
  • 2 - 4 years of Heavy Equipment operation experience
  • Possess a Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs. and pass a post offer, pre-employment physical assessment test.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of time, with flexible hours inclusive of weekends and holidays

Preferred:
  • Prior experience with GPS enabled equipment
  • High School Diploma or Vocational training in a closely related field
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30 Certifications
  • Mechanically inclined
  • CDL License
  • ROW/Pipeline experience
