Schedule: Per diem requirements: 32 hours per 8 week time block and 24 hours of weekend on call per 8 week time block
Day/Evenings with call per unit need- (holidays/ weekends)

Main Function:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care in the Perioperative setting utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN coordinates nursing care to patients, provides a safe patient environment, and delegates and supervises activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice.
Qualifications:
  • Required - NYS licensed registered nurse
  • Current BLS certification
  • Preferred - CNOR

Education:
  • Required - graduate of approved school of nursing
  • Preferred - BSN

Experience:
  • Recent acute care/OR experience required

Position Pay Range: $38.00-50.00/hour
