Description
Position Summary: Provides security escort service to VNS/contract caregivers as needed - 24 hours a day - or as scheduled or assigned by Security Coordinator.
Schedule: Per Diem Role M-F 7am to 3pm, On call responsibilities every 3 weeks from 3pm to 7am Sunday - Saturday.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: Active or retired police officer, or experience in the security function outside of law enforcement that represents the ability to participate fully in the VNS security escort program.
  • Must meet the requirements of a Security Guard Certification.
  • NYS Driver's License in good standing.
Responsibilities
Qualified individuals must be capable of performing the following essential duties and responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodations:
  • Escort URMHC/contract caregivers to, from, and within patient homes.
  • Participates in the agency escort on-call system.
  • Follows URMHC security standard operating procedures.
  • Other security/escort duties as assigned by EHS Manager in Environmental Services.
  • Other duties as assigned.
