Our Surgical Technicians play a key role in facilitating safe and successful surgeries for our patients! Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you would check and set up instruments, perform counts, and scrub in to assist the Surgeon at the table during invasive and surgical procedures. Other responsibilities may include: handling specimens, assisting with patient positioning and transfers, and participating in OR turnover.

Position:

Surgical Technician

Shift:

Per Diem - minimum of 36 hours per 6 weeks.

Experience:

One year of Operating Room experience required.

Education:

Successful completion of an accredited course in Operating Room Technology.

Licensures/Certifications:

Surgical Technician Certification CST Preferred if surgical technician training occurred on or before 12/29/2020 and candidate practiced clinically at any time during the two preceding years. Certified Surgical Technologist (by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required within 60 days of date of hire, if surgical training took place on or after 12/29/2020.
