Job description

Per Diem Pharmacist

Responsibilities Willow Springs Center, a residential behavioral health treatment center for adolescents, is looking for a compassionate, caring and dedicated Per Diem Pharmacist. The Per Diem Pharmacist will rotate weekend call coverage with 1 or 2 other per diems. Additionally, the per diem Pharmacist will be available, with advance notice, to periodically work full weekdays in the Pharmacy in the absence of the full-time Pharmacist. There is no set schedule or guaranteed number of hours.

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in a dispensing environment
  • NV license in good standing
  • Weekend availability for call
  • Weekday availability for PTO coverage
  • Comfortable working alone (no technician)
  • Nice person with great interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with physicians, nurses, and other appropriate staff to deliver excellent Pharmacy services to our residents
  • Sound knowledge of NV and Federal Pharmacy Law, and Joint Commission standards

Optional:

  • Experience with HCS or other EMRs
  • Board certification (BCACP, BCPS, BCPP)

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited program of pharmacy.
  • License: Valid current pharmacist license in the State of Nevada as well as a DEA permit.
  • Experience: 1-5 years of pharmacy experience. Prefer experience in psychiatric facility. Experience with operations and staff supervision preferred.
