Employment type:

  • “Casual Employee” (per diem, hourly clinician role)
  • Anticipated average of 8–20 patient care hours per week, with actual hours varying according to office needs

Location:

  • Seeing patients across multiple offices in Washington, DC. 
    • Including: Offices based in Maryland, Virginia, and DC 
  • Weekly schedule will include hours at several clinics in Washington, DC
  • Candidates must be willing to work at any of these locations as needed.

What you'll be working on:

  • Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
  • Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
  • Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams 
  • Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
  • Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

  • At least 2 years of primary care experience required.
  • Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Maryland, and/or Virginia, and/or Washington, DC 
  • The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups.
  • Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
  • Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program
  • Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

This is an hourly role based in Washington, DC

The base hourly for this role is $135.00 per hour. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
