About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – PACU for a 13-week contract opportunity in State College, Pennsylvania. This role provides post-anesthesia nursing care during Phase I and Phase II recovery, supporting safe patient transitions from anesthesia through discharge or transfer to the receiving unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide PACU nursing care using ASPAN standards for post-anesthesia recovery
• Assess patient condition, prioritize care, and monitor recovery progress
• Maintain airway support, oxygenation, pain management, and post-op safety
• Communicate post-operative reports and coordinate safe patient transfers
