Per Diem Occupational Therapy (OT) Position

Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a per diem Occupational Therapy (OT) position to join our team of skilled therapists in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
  • Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
  • Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
  • Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
  • Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
  • Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort
OT Requirements Include:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
  • Current New York State OT License
