Job Summary and Qualifications

To provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse in the NICU also is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering said patient care.

What Qualifications You Will Need:
  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Current STABLE certification or must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
