Focus Counseling Support Services, LLC is actively seeking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team in a remote capacity. Our work setting is entirely remote, utilizing cutting-edge telehealth technology that allows therapists to effectively engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes. As an LMFT at Focus Counseling Support Services, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health and dual disorders, using the latest DSM criteria under the supervision of licensed psychologists.
• Providing therapeutic interventions, including crisis management, brief therapy, skills training, supportive therapy, stress management, couples counseling, and family therapy.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of clinical services, including therapy notes, progress reports, and communications with other healthcare providers.
• Engaging in continuous professional development and participating in team meetings to address quality assurance and best practices.

Your work will primarily involve serving individuals, couples, and families dealing with a range of mental health challenges and life stressors. You will work closely with clients who may experience anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and dual-diagnosis disorders. Through our telehealth platform, you will play a crucial role in providing accessible mental health services, ensuring that clients receive timely and effective support.

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

• A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) in the state of New York.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services.

Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a strong understanding of mental health challenges prevalent in diverse populations will be beneficial for this role.
