Interventional Radiologist (Locum Tenens) – Sun City West, AZ

Job Details
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
  • Location: Sun City West, AZ 85375 — Arizona locum tenens opportunity
  • Setting: On-site at a leading medical center (Interventional Radiology / IR practice)
  • Schedule: 7 days a week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST
  • Call: Rotated with current IR practice, including rotating holiday coverage
  • Assignment Type: Per diem / Locum tenens
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Interventional Radiology Fellowship
  • ABR Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology certification (board-certified or board-eligible)
  • At least 1 year of experience in interventional radiology
  • Ability to perform a wide range of IR procedures (see responsibilities)
  • Proficiency with PowerScribe 1 dictation system
  • Arizona medical license or ability to obtain state licensure preferred
Responsibilities
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filter placement, fistulagram with declot, biliary and venous interventions
  • Provide general fluoroscopy procedures during day shifts and on-call coverage
  • Collaborate with the IR practice for rotating call and holiday coverage
  • Maintain productivity expectations (minimum 61 RVUs per shift)
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Accurately document procedures and encounters in the electronic medical record and dictation system
