Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking Board Certified Neonatologists to join our collaborative and high-performing team on a per diem basis at Southeast Health and Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. This is your chance to practice in a supportive, flexible environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance and clinical excellence.

  • Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists and 3 NNPs
    • NNPs cover day shifts 7 days/week and 2 night shifts

    • 18-bed Level III NICU at Southeast Health and Level II NICU at Flowers Hospital
    • 30 LDRP beds and 20-bed Newborn Nursery at Southeast Health

    • Regional transport team staffed by RNs and RTs

Qualifications
  • Active AL license or IMLC license preferred
  • Board Certification in Neonatology required
  • A minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required
  • Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months)

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
