Johns Hopkins Home Care Group

The RN will provide, coordinate, teach & supervise care for patients in the patient’s home.

Must be able to provide skilled evaluation, treatment & care for patients in accordance with the State of MD & DC Nursing scope of practice.

RN home visit assignments - We reimburse for mileage >25 miles per day.

Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.

Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.


Must have:     

  • Current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or licensed in a compact state OR DC license required if working in areas of DC
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent infusion skills
  • High-tech skill- care and use of Central Venous Access Devices, including PICCs, Infusaports, and Hickman.
  • Experience in administering infusions such as IVIG, Remicade, and Entyvio;
  • 2 years of Prior home infusion experience 
  • Epic experience
  • Must have a Valid Maryland driver’s license and current auto insurance, working vehicle; agree to comply with Maryland law for mandatory seat belt use
  • Provides, coordinates, teaches, and/or supervises care for a group of patients usually in the setting of the patient’s home.
  • Ability to accept, work, and effectively teach & communicate with individuals and families with varied social and cultural backgrounds without being judgmental
