A Per Diem Infant Formula specialist is a healthcare professional, often a dietitian or nurse, who works on an as-needed basis to support families and healthcare providers with infant formula needs. Their responsibilities may include assessing infants’ nutritional requirements, recommending appropriate formula types, educating caregivers, and ensuring proper formula preparation and storage. 'Per diem' means they work on a flexible, non-permanent schedule, typically filling in when needed rather than having a set number of hours. These specialists play an important role in hospitals, clinics, and community health settings to promote healthy infant feeding practices.
