Job description

Cobblestone Creek Country Club is looking for a qualified individual to fill the Second Assistant Superintendent position.
Cobblestone Creek Country Club is a private country club located 20 miles southeast of Rochester NY. The course was designed by Michael Hurdzan with construction completed in 1991.
Cobblestone Creek Country Club, located in Victor, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time 2nd Assistant Superintendent! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Job Summary
This individual will work closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in the daily maintenance of the golf course.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Monitor Course conditions
  • Chemical and Pesticide Applications
  • Operate and instruct all golf course equipment in a safe manner
  • Assist in water management
  • Irrigation Repair
  • Crew management
  • Participating in renovation projects
  • Assist in maintaining landscaping throughout the course and grounds
  • Assist with snow removal
  • Assist with equipment maintenance

Education Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-year Turf related Degree/Certificate

Experience Required:
  • 1 to 2 years Golf course maintenance experience

Work Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday plus weekends/ holidays
