Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our innovative psychiatry practice in Brownsville, Tennessee. Work Environment

The role is structured as a full-time remote position, allowing for flexibility while enabling therapists to provide quality care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' eating disorder symptoms, underlying mental health issues, and their overall treatment needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, actively involving clients in the goal-setting process for recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Facilitate therapy sessions aimed at altering clients' distorted beliefs surrounding food, body image, and self-worth, cultivating a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Teach clients essential coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills to empower them in resisting detrimental eating behaviors.
• Collaborate effectively with the treatment team to ensure a coordinated approach to care that addresses all facets of clients' lives.
• Provide psychoeducation for clients and their families to deepen their understanding of eating disorders and establish a nurturing recovery atmosphere.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of clients' progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and contribute actively in team meetings and case conferences to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves individuals struggling with eating disorders and those who may also face co-occurring mental health conditions. Our clients often seek support to navigate challenges related to self-image, emotional wellness, and behavior associated with food. By facilitating therapy, you will play a crucial role in their journeys to recovery and improved well-being.

Qualifications

• Completed a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Tennessee.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities specifically focused on eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• Demonstrated understanding of the multifaceted nature of eating disorders and their potential co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, specifically dealing with eating disorders or related mental health issues.
• Experience working collaboratively within a treatment team environment to coordinate holistic care for clients.
