Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Location: Appleton, WI

Shift / Hours: 8 Hours per Day (Day Shift)

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $1,635.79 โ€“ $1,924.46 per week

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Appleton, WI. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across long-term care, short-term rehab, and sub-acute units while maintaining high standards of clinical quality and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, managing typical ratios of 15:1 to 18โ€“20:1 on Short-Term Stay/Rehab units, and up to 25:1 on LTC/SNF units.
  • Perform essential clinical duties including wound care, stoma care, wound vacs, G/J-tubes, peg tubes, ileostomy/colostomy care, and Foley catheter maintenance.
  • Administer IV fluids, antibiotics, and tube feeds; manage IV pumps and start IVs/draw labs as required.
  • Provide basic tracheostomy care as needed (no ventilator care required).
  • Demonstrate flexibility by floating across various facility units (Rehab, SNF, LTAC, LTC, and Short-Term Stay).
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a LTC, SNF, LTAC, or Rehab setting.
  • Certifications: Active BLS/CPR certification required. IV certification is highly preferred.
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin (or multistate/compact license).
  • Location Restrictions: Candidates must not reside within 50 minutes of the facility location.
