Job description

Employment Type:Part timeShift:Rotating ShiftDescription:Per Diem, 12HR Shifts, Rotating Shift with expectation of availability for some weekend and holiday shifts
The Emergency Room Technician functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. He/she provides non-licensed direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patients. He/she assists the healthcare team by providing personal assistance to patients by caring for the patient, equipment and supplies and also by providing clerical and nursing care support services.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of phlebotomy training with six (6) months of hire.
  • Current BCLS required.
  • Phlebotomy proficiency preferred
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer experience preferred
  • Minimun one (1) year experience in a clinical setting.
  • Previous nursing assistant experience.
