Job description

Per Diem OB/GYN

Mass General Brigham is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN for a moonlighting opportunity at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected community hospital affiliated with Mass General Brigham while working alongside a collaborative and experienced multidisciplinary team.

About the Opportunity:
  • Provide obstetric and gynecologic care for hospitalized patients, including labor management, deliveries, obstetric triage, emergency gynecologic consultations, and urgent surgical care as needed
  • Collaborate closely with experienced OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
  • Flexible moonlighting schedule designed to supplement an existing practice
  • Competitive compensation
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Strong clinical skills, excellent bedside manner, and commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care
  • Ability to independently manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in a community hospital setting
  • Interest in working within a collaborative, community-based care model

This is a per diem position. Shift pay ranges from $1100 to $2200 per shift, depending on the type and timing of shifts worked. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.
