Job description

Lactation Consultant RN Per Diem Mother-Baby 3AB Saint Peter's is among the few hospitals in the world to have earned its 7th consecutive Magnet designation and its first Magnet with Distinction designation. Our team of award-winning nurses is growing, and we are looking for talented, compassionate RNs to join our team.

The Lactation Consultant RN Per Diem will: Identify educational needs of the LDR/Mother-Baby, NICU, Antepartum and Pediatric breastfeeding mother and nursing staff Plan, implement, and evaluate one-on-one and in-service educational programs in conjunction with the Clinical Specialist Develop and maintain records and serves as a lactation resource person Provide consultation, promotion, and support to medical staff as requested Requirements: Current licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Prior experience working with breastfeeding mothers on an inpatient and/or outpatient basis. IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) certification.

BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification. We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data.

In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
