Hours needed: Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm (*candidate must be avail during this time each week, but this can be remote)

Day to day responsibilities:

As a Project Manager for various technical projects, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing project deliverables. This involves working with System Office IT staff, system owners, and college staff to ensure the needs of the VCCS community are being communicated, understood and met.

Responsibilities include coordinating project timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring resource allocation, managing project updates, running steering committee meetings, and facilitating effective communication to drive the successful implementation of project initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.

Ideal candidate will have experience leading technical enterprise system projects involving various stakeholder groups. This experience MUST be clearly reflected on resume with technical details included. Experiencing with PeopleSoft enterprise systems is a plus as is VA state Cardinal system experience.

Experience using agile project management methodology is desired.

Must have an active PMP certificate. NO EXCEPTIONS! Pls upload PMP cert to confirm.
