What does a pensions manager do?

A Pensions Manager is responsible for overseeing and administering pension schemes within an organization or for clients. Familiarity with pension administration software, regulatory compliance systems, and financial reporting tools is often required. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and stakeholder management abilities distinguish top performers in this field. These competencies are crucial to ensure accurate scheme administration, legal compliance, and effective communication with members and trustees.

What are some common challenges pensions managers face in keeping up with regulatory changes?

Pensions Managers often encounter challenges staying current with evolving pension legislation and compliance requirements. Regulatory frameworks can change frequently, requiring managers to continuously update processes and communicate adjustments to both staff and scheme members.
