Job Description:

  • Electrical field engineer who will be part of the construction follow up team at Hammerfest.
  • Follow up the electrical discipline deliverables in the project
  • Follow up design in accordance with relevant rules, regulations and requirements
  • Align design with discipline ladder and leading advisors
  • Implement operational requirements and experience in design
  • Follow up and coordinate discipline integration with other disciplines
  • Follow up discipline requirements and interfaces in procurement packages
  • Look for opportunities
  • Tasks and deliveries
  • Follow-up contractor’s discipline deliverables
  • Assist in preparations, verification and follow-up of procurement packages
  • Technical clarifications within the discipline
  • Contribute to no change philosophy, and to effective handling of required changes
  • Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties (RISK)
  • Establish good working relations with contractor’s discipline
  • Contribute to an effective and adequate Construction Team organization.
  • Assist Construction Lead in daily task.
  • Contribute to seamless transfer from Construction phase to HUC phase.
  • Assist and guide contractors in daily basis.
  • Punch out of work and use Procosys for MC
  • Ensure that change request in Construction Scope of Work is handled according to approved routines.
  • Ensure ATS rental equipment are utilized in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Ensure that contractor complies with preservation routines as per requirements and special in the main skill for this position.
  • Contribute that the process for transfer of responsibility between Construction and Commissioning (Ready for Commissioning) is executed according to ARIS.
  • Ensure Construction organization develop and comply with necessary work processes and site instruction for an effective and safe execution of the work.

Qualifications:

  • Master or Bachelor of Science within Electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ relevant experience.
  • Project experience from electrical design and construction.
  • Multi-discipline understanding.
  • Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably Company’s technical requirements
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team.
  • High ethical standards and adherence to Company's ethical requirements
  • Ability to handle high workload.
