What are Penn Medicine remote jobs?

Penn Medicine remote jobs are positions offered by Penn Medicine that allow employees to work from home or another remote location instead of commuting to a traditional office or hospital setting. These roles can include administrative, IT, clinical support, telemedicine, and other non-patient-facing positions. Remote jobs at Penn Medicine provide flexibility while supporting the healthcare system's operations and patient care. Staff in these roles use secure technology to collaborate with teams, manage data, or provide virtual care to patients.

How does working remotely for Penn Medicine impact collaboration with clinical and administrative teams?

Remote roles at Penn Medicine are designed to maintain strong collaboration through regular virtual meetings, secure communication platforms, and shared project management tools. Team members often participate in cross-departmental video conferences and digital huddles to stay aligned on patient care, process improvements, and administrative tasks. While you may work from home, you’ll still be expected to engage actively with colleagues, contribute to group initiatives, and attend occasional in-person meetings when necessary. This structure fosters a supportive and connected work environment, even at a distance.
