Job description

We are seeking a Full Time Property Manager for two buildings in Edgewood and Penn Hills area.
This individual should be familiar with housing management, budgeting, housing agency regulations, related terminology and have a commitment to community building. Successful candidates will be highly organized, able to manage their workload with minimal supervision, and comfortable troubleshooting day-to-day issues independently. Strong time management, attention to detail, and technology skills are essential. Experience using Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Office preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three years of related work experience.
  • CPM (Certified Property Manager), CPHM (Certified Public Housing Manager), LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) certifications preferable.

General Duties:
  • Conducts leasing process including processing applications, general correspondence, interviewing eligible applicants and preparing lease packages.
  • Manages financial operations of the site following company and government agency rules and regulations
  • Performs rent collection, makes bank deposits, processes cash receipts, security deposits and vendor invoices.
  • Monitors turnovers and major replacements.
  • Processes move-ins/outs, security deposits, transfers, rent changes and Guest Card input into Yardi.
  • Handles evictions.
  • Oversees building and grounds maintenance
  • Fosters a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents.
  • Investigates complaints, disturbances, violations.
  • Handles all aspects of site and unit inspections.
  • Conducts and coordinates all marketing activities to promote the property.
  • Conducts all resident retention events and activities.
