Senior Applications Engineer, Pega Customer Service

Customer Service team is responsible for designing and implementing features on top of Pega Platform while building consumer grade Customer Service application features that can be smoothly taken up by our internal customers; and external customers alike. This team churns out multiple product releases in a year while ensuring we maintain the highest level of product quality and cover multiple scenarios involving Performance, Scalability, HA, Implementation, Security and Accessibility. High emphasis is given to architecture and designs while also enhancing application maturity. You will be the catalyst and focal point guiding a talented engineering team building differentiated products enabling Pega customers in their efforts to serve customers.

What You'll Do at Pega
  • Contribute to design and development of features enabling customers to differentiate themselves from competitors and driving them to stay ahead.
  • Visualize scenarios, needs of vertical apps and design robust models.
  • Identify and assess the impact of an enhancement or a change across multiple vertical apps (consuming) and drive an optimal solution.
  • Carry out proof of concepts, spikes for use cases dealing with complex scenarios.
  • Adapt to frequent change.
  • Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Work in strict timeframes and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team with mindful of good software development patterns and practices surrounded by fun loving talented engineers.
  • Work with product manager to understand the supported scheme(s) association regulations or changes and work towards development.
Who You Are

A result oriented individual, driven with passion and ability to explore solutions and solve complex customer problems.

  • 4-6 years of software development experience, preferably working experience on Pega’s PRPC tool.
  • BE or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong PRPC technical skills, preferably Pega 8 and above. Participates in design and development of features.
  • Good to have exposure on Low‑Code development.

Additional Information

Base salary range for this role is 96,800 – 144,800 USD annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.

The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
