We are committed to helping children succeed in all stages of life through evidence-based therapy and education, diagnostic services, state of the art facilities, specialized equipment, family support, and community investment.ย  We are currently looking for qualified individuals to fill the position of Senior Director!ย  This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the therapy and ABA programs at the site, building Pediatrics Plus's culture, and ensuring excellence in service. They oversee all aspects of the site operations including therapy enrollment, leadership of team members, management of systems and processes at the site level, compliance of all state-mandated guidelines, revenue/expenses, and health and safety.

What you will do:

  • Leadย by example and ensureย the Pediatrics Plus culture is reinforced in all decision-making for the site.ย 
  • Lead daily huddles of team to be used for priority setting, obstacle identification, and support of team members.ย 
  • Lead site retention efforts to retain quality team members.ย 
  • Oversee the direction of the therapy/ABA operations, specifically regarding therapy being therapeutically/developmentally focused; a collaborative environment between therapists and other team members; and with a high priority placed on family engagement and involvement.
  • Oversee all aspects of staff management including hiring, terminations, corrective actions, performance reviews, position placements, promotions, and training. Ensures approval from Regional Leader and Legal for terminations based on company violations other than occurrence policy violation.ย 
  • Oversee all annual themes ensuring they are actively promoted and reinforced following directions provided from senior leadership.ย 
  • Ensure compliance through Arkansas Childcare Licensing, AR Medicaid EIDT, governing agencies, audits, and any additional compliance requests by the organization.ย 
  • Provide oversight and leadership to staff management to promote leadership growth and site development. This includes weekly or bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with: ย 
    • ABA Team Leadsย 
    • Administrative Operations Specialist
    • RBT Developmental Coordinator.
  • Provide oversight and compliance with all aspects of the therapy budget including revenue, expenses, and payroll within the parameters of the site's projections.ย 
  • Oversee therapy caseload management.ย 
  • Make decisions and oversee the discharge process for children receiving therapy.ย 
  • Maintain quality assurance through measures provided by Pediatrics Plus administration.ย 
  • Ensure that all human resource functions (payroll, time-off requests, worker's compensation, leaves of absences, and any needed paperwork) are completed accurately and timely and that adequate communication is maintained with the Human Resources Department.ย 
  • Oversee and handle site-related people issues including but not limited to coaching, written warnings, development plans, and termination with approval from designated leadership.ย 
  • Attend and represent site in designated organizational, leadership, and clinical program line meetings.ย 
  • Assist with marketing events, doctor visits, and other marketing avenues as needed and/or requested.ย 
  • Responsible for handling any parent complaints or concerns and escalating if warranted to appropriate leadership.ย 
  • Ensure completion of site metrics to understand current status and possible need to increase numbers to set targets.ย 
  • Attend local business functions and have a working relationship with other businesses, local inuencers, mom/parent groups, churches, and chambers within the community.
  • Participates in one-on-one meetings with leader.ย

  • Basic computer skills which include a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.ย ย 
  • Ability to represent the company in a confident, persuasive, and positive manner.ย 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.ย 
  • Ability to work under stress and respond quickly in emergency situations.ย 
  • In-depth knowledge of operational, clinical and referral development systems.ย 
  • Ability to work effectively within a complex matrix organization.ย 
  • Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding dress code.ย 
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.ย 
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.ย 
  • Travel may be required.ย 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.ย 
  • Master's Degree in a therapy/ABA related field, preferred.
  • Current license and certification for therapy/ABA related
  • Minimum three years of broad clinical experience, preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include near and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
