Occupational Therapist (OT) – Pediatrics

Location: Salina, KS (67401)
Setting: Infant Child Development (ICD) Program
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday | Flexible Hours
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary Range: $76,000 – $95,000 annually
Hourly Range: $36.60 – $45.00 (based on education and experience)
Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 (discussed during interview)
On-Call: Possible (discussed during interview)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services primarily to children ages 0–3 years within an Infant Child Development program.

The OT will evaluate and treat patients demonstrating delays or deficits in activities of daily living (including play), neuromuscular function, sensory integration, cognitive development, and psychosocial abilities.

This role involves comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, service delivery, family education, consultation, documentation, and discharge/transition planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations

  • Develop individualized treatment plans

  • Provide direct therapy services to infants and toddlers

  • Deliver family education and caregiver training

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Participate in discharge and transition planning

  • Support program development and consultation efforts

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy – Required

  • Active Kansas Occupational Therapy License – Required

  • Valid Kansas Drivers License – Required

  • BLS or CPR Certification (American Red Cross or AHA – within 90 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of pediatric occupational therapy experience
