Job Description

Join a highly specialized surgical team where innovation, teamwork, and exceptional patient care come together every day. As a Surgery RN, you'll support patients through a wide range of procedures, from minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries to complex specialty and trauma cases. Working in one of the region's most advanced surgical environments, you'll collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative teams to deliver safe, high-quality care and outstanding patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative experience.
  • Partner with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Support a variety of surgical specialties, including robotic, minimally invasive, general, specialty, and trauma procedures.
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical expertise to anticipate patient and procedural needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advocate for patient safety while maintaining surgical best practices and quality standards.
  • Coordinate care, communicate effectively across teams, and support efficient surgical workflows.
  • Educate patients and families throughout the surgical journey.

Required

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or another compact licensure state.

Preferred

BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Previous surgery or perioperative nursing experience.
