Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric PACU

Unit Overview

The Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit is a specialized 10-bed unit dedicated to the preoperative and postoperative care of pediatric patients. In addition to this, there is a 4-bed Pediatric Surgical Observation Unit (PSOU) that provides essential postoperative care for children requiring overnight observation or extended recovery (up to 23 hours) after surgery.

Position Details
  • Shift: Night shifts - 3x12 Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Schedule: Every other weekend required
  • Holiday Requirements: Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays
  • Assignment Duration: Longer assignments available through 01/02/2027
  • Time Off: Up to 40 hours can be approved for time off
Qualifications
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse with the ability to submit with pending VA license
  • Able to comply with the 50-mile radius rule
