Join our dynamic team of pediatric intensivists in beautiful Richmond, VA


Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity BC/BE pediatric intensivists to join our our current group of 5 board certified Pediatric Critical Care Providers at Bon Secours/Mercy St. Mary's Hospital. Ideal candidates will be strong clinicians who work well as part of a team, adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines, and provide high quality care.

  • 6-physician practice with inhouse call
  • Block scheduling available with 12 hour shifts M-F and 24 hour shifts on weekends
  • Responsibilities include covering the 10-bed PICU with an ADC of 7, shared coverage of two day per week sedation program
  • Robust sub-specialty support available, including Peds GI, Endocrinology, Surgery, Pulmonology, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Orthopedics and Urology
  • Pediatrix also provides NICU and pediatric hospitalist services at St. Mary's Hospital.
  • Physicians will be part of a comprehensive care team of pediatric critical care specialists and pediatric hospitalists.
  • Experienced providers and new grads are encouraged to apply.
