Pediatric Dentistry of Albany is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Pay & Perks:

Schedule:

  • Full-time - Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during exams and procedures (chairside support)
  • Take dental X-rays and support hygiene appointments
  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment
  • Set up and clean operatories, manage supply inventory
  • Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
  • Educate, comfort, and engage pediatric patients during their visit
  • Assist with front office duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of dental or orthodontic assistant experience, OR Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
  • X-ray license preferred
  • Pediatric dental experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with dental charting and treatment planning
  • Friendly, professional, and calm demeanor-especially with kids
  • Willingness to relocate to Albany, NY if not local
