Overview

Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is seeking a pediatric cardiologist to further develop its busy and dynamic outpatient pediatric cardiology and fetal program. This role focuses on outpatient care including consultation, diagnostics, and longitudinal management of children with congenital and acquired heart disease. The position also includes general inpatient cardiology service coverage and opportunities to work with other cardiology subspecialties and community providers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient consultation, diagnostics, and longitudinal management of pediatric cardiac patients.
  • Offer inpatient cardiology service coverage as needed.
  • Collaborate with cardiac specialists within the division and other in‑house and community‑based providers.
  • Participate in program development efforts to expand access and care for children across the region.
  • Engage in academic activities, depending on interests.
Qualifications
  • Board certification (BE/BC) in pediatric cardiology.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
