Your Impact

 As a Mammography Technologist, you’ll perform routine and specialized breast imaging procedures, integrating technical expertise with compassionate patient care. You’ll play a vital role in early detection and diagnosis, helping patients navigate their health journey with confidence and support.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet patient and physician needs.
  • Perform high-quality mammographic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and team members to optimize diagnostic accuracy.
  • Maintain compliance with MQSA and ACR standards, including quality control documentation.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required; Mammography certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Oregon Radiologic Technologist license through Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) and BLS certification required.
  • Prior experience in mammography preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
