You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
  • Assisted with researching and preparing responses to congressional inquiries.
  • Maintained records to track congressional correspondence, action items and/or suspense dates.
  • Gathered information and drafted briefings for congressional affairs. AND
  • Assisted in maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and/or congressional staff.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
