The PDC Account Representative is responsible for handling inbound customer calls and supporting the inside sales team through accurate order processing, issue resolution, and day-to-day account support. This role serves as the front line of customer interaction for PDC, ensuring a high-quality customer experience while identifying and capturing incremental sales opportunities during each interaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the "Voice of PDC" by handling all calls to PDC's general sales line, promptly answering with a smile, and providing customer's exceptional service

  • Conduct outbound sales calls Prospecting for new PDC customers through cold calling and searching other media outlets.

  • Analyze customer purchase history to identify growth areas. Design and implement programs to present to the customer. Handle inbound customer calls and provide the appropriate service action to all such calls, including writing orders, providing order tracking information, answering questions, and addressing concerns regarding past orders

  • Achieve Monthly and annual sales and gross margin objectives.

  • Recommend products to customers based on customers' needs and interests.

  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

  • Work with sales group to develop and market new products.

  • Contact target accounts monthly through a variety of media to promote special offers as determined by management.

  • Provide customers with product and service information Identify, research, and resolve customer issues.

  • Follow-up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved

  • Complete call logs and reports.

  • Create and maintain order reports daily.

  • Update and upload customer pricing matrix and maintain pricing expiration dates.

  • Provide on-the-job training for new team members.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent business experience preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role

  • Prior experience in a customer service environment is preferred

  • Strong presentation skills
