Job description

This position is responsible for the delivery of finished goods to and from customers in a professional and safe manner. Additionally, this position is responsible for picking up Ford cores and returns from the customer and other items that may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES:

· Operate and drive a 26ft box truck, or straight truck safely and professionally to transport parts.

· Operate a forklift to efficiently transport material and parts and load/unload parts from trucks.

· Perform the daily safety checks of equipment.

· Properly secure loads for safe transport.

· Process all core and warranty returns using the PDA scanner and providing the customer and warehouse with proper receipts and paperwork.

· Prepare and package loads.

· Interface with customers and other shop personnel in a professional manner.

· Other duties as assigned including helping in warehouse operations as needed.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

· Must have a valid driver’s license (Class C).

· Must have 2 years’ experience driving 26ft straight trucks with lift gates on the road.

· Demonstrated skill in operating straight trucks.

· Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Physical Qualifications:
