Job description

Patient Care Technician (PCT/CNA)

The Patient Care Technician (PCT/CNA) performs a variety of patient care activities at Gaylord hospital. Working under the direction of the RN, the PCT's have valuable exposure to a wide variety of patient populations and skills while working in a warm and friendly atmosphere with supportive, interdisciplinary teams. With an average patient length of stay 25-30 days, the PCT is able to develop strong relationships and play a key role in the recovery of our patients.

Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • CNA, CPCT, CEMT, CMA or RMA required or equivalent training program
  • Patient care experience preferred
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) CPR Certification required prior to hire

Work schedule: 24 hours/week, day shift (7:00 am-3:30 pm), every other weekend/holiday rotation
