HE OPPORTUNITY
Iron Bow is seeking a Project Assistant to support the PC Refresh Team in coordinating refresh activities and other project-related tasks for the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) initiative. In this role, you will help keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with service-level agreements while supporting communication, documentation, and day-to-day coordination across the team.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Maintain and monitor PC refresh and project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Help ensure project deadlines and service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Participate in daily PC Refresh Team meetings and support ongoing project coordination.
  • Document key actions and decisions from meetings and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Assist in developing PC refresh strategies and standardized tasks and processes for the PC Refresh Team.
  • Ensure refresh and project documentation is accurate, organized, and maintained appropriately.
  • Coordinate large-scale orders and related communications.
  • Support multiple priorities and deadlines while keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Assist with additional project and team needs as required.

SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS
  • Associate's degree and 1-2 years of experience in a Project Assistant, Project Coordinator, or similar role; relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale orders and related communications.
  • Experience supporting or managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to contractual requirements, regulations, and performance obligations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience utilizing Google Maps or similar mapping tools.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT INFORMATION
The salary range for this position is $20.00-$26 per hour. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
